MMA at Charlotte: Bellator coming to NASCAR All-Star Race
Mixed Martial Arts is coming to NASCAR.
A handful of mid-tier MMA bouts will be scheduled throughout the afternoon leading up to the annual summer exhibition. The fights will take place between 3:30-5 p.m. at the Monster Energy display in the track’s fan zone.
Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to meet two of the biggest names in the history of mixed martial arts on Friday, May 19, when former UFC champion Tito Ortiz and former PRIDE champion Dan Henderson will conduct an autograph signing at the fan zone from 3-4 p.m.
The fights came together thanks to NASCAR and Bellator’s shared relationship with partner Monster Energy. The fights will be included as a pre-race activity exclusively for fans in attendance. The lineup on Saturday will consist of four fights featuring regional prospects.
